Part of I-220 is closing Saturday during Shreveport Race

On I-220 from I-20 to Jefferson Paige Road[toward Monroe] will be closed Saturday.

Coming from Dallas [traveling East] go pass I-220 exit. Your next exit will be Monkhouse Drive. Exit off and turn "LEFT". Go to the end of this street. At the red light, go across this intersection. This will be Jefferson Paige Road. Go down it until you see I-220 and turn right.[ couple of miles] Then just follow you signs like you have before. Exit Hwy. 71 North. [toward Texarkana] You are about 20 miles from track at this point. Stay in right hand lane because it will split off in a couple of miles. Turn Right on "THUNDER ROAD" track on your left. Go to the end and turn "LEFT" You want the 2nd turn in for the track.


Coming I-20 from Monroe area I-220 is open at Louisiana Downs Horse track to your exit toward track.[ Exit 25 maybe]


Coming I-49 North to 3132 toward Dallas [Jeff Teuton Route] When you get to I-20 exit "RIGHT" toward Monroe [going East] next exit is Monkhouse. Follow the above directions.
