Yes the ASRA will be opening the '08 season this Sunday, May 18 at New England Dragway. Gates open at 7:30 with TT starting at 9am. The ASRA usually runs at the end of the regular bracket race rotation, which is usually after the bikes, but we may run after Hot Rod, thats up to the track. I strongly recommend getting an ATI (Automatic tech inspection), once you do this all you need is the ATI paper to tech in, it saves a lot of time and aggravation. You can usually get this done after the regular morning tech is done or anytime during the racing day. Only thing is you need to be a current IHRA member to do this.
As far as we know the entry is still $58 and Sunoco Race fuels are sold at New England, If you run VP better bring some with you. New England Dragway can be SUPER FAST at this time of year, the glass smooth racing surface, '90 Ft. elevation along with the cool spring air make this one of the fastest tracks on the east coast! Bring the wheelie bars and let it fly, no AHFS here. George Mirza ASRA B.O.D. |
