Default 2 car enclosed towing with 1 ton

How many have towed a 44-53 foot gooseneck with two full cars (3500lb stockers) behind a 1 ton dually? More specifically a 90’s GM dually with 454. I know it won?t have any spare power on tap, but did you feel comfortable? Want to know if I need to start looking for a c4500/c5500 style truck

Default Re: 2 car enclosed towing with 1 ton

I have towed 48 to 53 ft. Enclosed with two cars and equipment
for 30 years. I have never had an issue with anything.

I towed for a number of years with a new 2007 Kodiak 4500 duramax
and found it a bit more stable in the wind.

I have a 2024 Ram 3500 dually with the HD towing package (36,000)
and tow to the local track my ATC 4 car stacker full of equipment.
My only concern with towing with it interstate would be extremely high
winds. We have a Toter for that to use.
