Yes. I just have to get better. I am down a full tenth. Got to pick the runs apart the get what we can to help close the gap. And you know the competition is working hard to stay in front.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
The time spent at the school for me was well spent. The emphasis was on all things, wiring do?s and don?t, fuel system plumbing and monitoring, how to protect the systems from the elements and unseen but very real threats to the system. The flexibility of the system to do a host of other things in the street rod world from intermittent wipers that come on automatically to controlling the A/C. Tuning the engine.
Mr Tom the instructor was just great at explaining how the magic worked and how to apply it all with a sense humor. He made me think with a little smile on my face. And the food was good. I don?t know if we will be any faster but I will have more confidence in my quest for performance. |

When you wake up in the middle of deep sleep and have been dreaming about adjusting the fuel I believe there was a no hope for me.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
When I had my Max Wedge car I used to wake up in the middle of the night thinking about perfectly sealing the intake manifold.
If you have ever raced a Wedge you know what I'm saying! Last edited by Frank Castros; 11-13-2024 at 08:41 AM. |
