With converter problems commonly coming back to the sprag, that is one problem that you won't have with a spragless!

I'm not surprised at all that an 8" sprag converter outperformed the 9" spragless. It most likely had a higher stall, which I've always seen to be quicker and more consistent as long as you can handle the increased RPM at the finish line.

Also, spragless converters tend to build a little more heat and be down just a little MPH compared to an identical converter equipped with a sprag.

With that said, I am still a fan of spragless converters.
