I am trying to figure out what car this is!
I gather that right after that he switched to a 65 426/365 car.
But it says 62 Plymouth here and in Davis' SS book pg185. I cant find anything close to w/p=8.70 except:
62 Fury 3seat wagon 3559/410hp = 8.68
would NHRA let that slide as 8.70?

Or
62 Savoy 2d sdn 3159/343hp = 9.21
This fits but seems a waste in the 8.70 weight class.

Anybody know what car/engine the Clise 62 Plymouth was??

Related question -
On pg 181 of Larry Davis' Super Stock book, he says the new 440 DUAL QUAD Mopar could run in SS/E.
I have to read the NHRA rule book pretty loosely to come up with dual quads being legal, or were there a bunch of factory 440-8v cars I missed?
I read somewhere about the z28 running dual quads too in SS, so maybe it is a general question - when were non-factory dual quads legal in SS ? (I know the 383/343 is a special case!)

Thanks for any memories of these details!
Not aware of Mopar ever building a 440 dual quad motor Deuce.

440 6 Pack or 440 single 4BBL.

99% certain only the Hemis , Sonoramics, early 383/413s and MW motors came with duals in the 60s
