Race # 2 & 3 Results
News & Notes from SSSSA Races 2&3 this past weekend at Orlando Speed World....
**We enjoyed our biggest car count in a long time, with 31 (3 more suffering breakage) cars making first round on Saturday and 25 making first round on Sunday.
**Kenneth Anderson (D/PS) had a very good weekend, winning on Saturday over Trey Sikes (HF/SA) and getting runner-up to John Cira (SS/JA) on Sunday.
**Our races included drivers from Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, Ohio & Virginia.
**Great to see Jim Woods & Saozinha Veiga (Connie) back out at an SSSSA race. We've missed you guys!
**It was also great to have 2016 Champ Richard Mace, Pat Clifford and his new car, Scott Demmy driving for David Lindsay and Jay Slane back out racing with the association. Jay also donated $75 towards the purse on Sunday even though he wasn't able to race. Thanks Jay!
**Former Champ Myron Piatek was out at the track on Sunday testing his new car
**Terri Bennett, wife of longtime association racer Keith Bennett, made her racing debut this weekend and made it to the semi-finals on Sunday. Great job Terri!
