If you're planning to run a dragster in Comp, my choice would be a hard tail, but at least 240 to 250 long for a small block, and 265 to 270 for a big block.. you could use a 225 for a 4 cylinder class, but even a 6 cylinder class needs to be at least 235..

You can run the car you're describing in Super Comp, or Brackets, but be sure it came from a reputable builder, has a current NHRA cert sticker, and actually fits you.. if it doesn't have these things, and you choose to buy it anyway, you will be spending a lot of money to make it fit, and make it legal..

If you have a friend that knows NHRA rules, and chassis stuff, BRING HIM!!
