The weekend of August 3rd and 4th the Buckeye S/SS Drag Racing Series will again be at the New Dragway 42 . Special payouts for these weekend events will feature a payout that will pay winners $2000 each day and runner ups will receive $800. Entry will remain the same $100. There will be a gate fee of $25 to pay as well each day. You will pay the gate fee at the gate and you will come to our Buckeye S/SS Trailer for your tech cards.
Sponsors we have at this point are Precision Automotive Machine of Canton, Watson Ruppel performance in Sarahsville, PK Race n Rods located in Millersport, Custom Concrete Coatings in Columbus, Modern Auto Parts NAPA of Cadiz, with multi locations in Eastern Ohio, Jeff's Auto Body & Collision Center in St.Clairsville. All of these sponsors are responsible for the increased payouts for this special weekend.
We will also have our Bounty Hunter program sponsored by KB Trailer Sales paying $100 each day. For the first day the bounty will be on Jeff Jones in the Hemi Headache Plymouth. Jeff defeated Danny Smith who was the winner of our only completed event this season. Since there was no winner since then we chose the bounty to be on Jeff Jones. the bounty on day 2 will be placed on the winner of day one.
Dial for Dollars presented by Mid Ohio Paving pays $100 to the racer each day that runs closest to their dial in.
Parsons & Myers Racing Engines from Dayton is the sponsor of the Best First Round LOSING package each day paying $100. you can lose and still make money at the Buckeye S/SS Events!
VP Race Fuels will award the #1 qualifier each day (based off of reaction time) with a $50 gift certificate good toward the purchase of VP Racing fuel.
How could you not come race with us on August 3rd and 4th at the newest racing facility around. More money to be won and many ways to win money.
Test n Tune will be available on Friday the 2nd for $20 and racers can stay overnight if they wish.
