With a car that is going to tip the scales at 2800+ lbs. You need some torque to get that car moving. It's easy to spend someone else's money but you need some cubic inches. A windsor stroker would help but I'm not sure you can flow the numbers with that head to make a 427" small block really run. The windsor is going to need a different intake, and some other parts. Maybe now is the time to sell as much of that small block stuff to someone and build that big block. A stump pulling BBF isn't as expensive to build as all the Chevy guys will tell you. What kind of flow can you get out of those heads, 310 cfm might make enough with a 427 or maybe some port work can get the flow you need?
