The GMHW5170 you spoke of looks like the same one as Evan bought from GoPro

Does the video come in .mpg format? Is the frame rate sufficient to see slow motion video? How much recording time @5 megapixels?
For the price and mounting flexability the GoPro deal seems pretty good.
