John Douglas has built many Cleveland Stockers and had one of the fastest H/S 71/72 Mustangs in the country. He never had any bearing issues with his engines in stock or Super Stock. Look no further than Tex Miller and Gary Glazner, they are as fast as some of the big blocks out there. I'd go with the 351C HO engine over the 429 especially if you have the parts. We got plenty of them (351C) parts here in Tampa.
