Also, in the spirit of the build section, I've been doing a moderate amount f work to my cars. This week I did a quick oil change on my Mazda at it was nearing it's run limit as well as lashed valves and remounted and rotated the rear tires. When I mounted the tires a few months ago, I only put wheel screws on the outside bead of the tire, but noticed that they had all started to loosen and get pulled all the tire's rotation. I dismounted the tires, remounted and balanced them, and put screws in both beads. I don't think it was causing any issues but I wanted to correct it just in case it was.
When doing the oil change, I noticed that the alternator pulley was busy sawing my lower radiator hose in half and was about to become a BIG issue. I took it off and went to the auto parts store in search of a close replacement, or at least something I could hack up and make work. That was fun lol. They let me go through there entire catalogue of fitted hoses to find one that I could make work. It took about an hour of searching, but I did eventually find one I could cut the ends off of and make work.
