Of course, I really doubt that NHRA officials would ever want the spectators to have to walk past a bunch of lowly Sportsman cars to get to the "PRO" pits, so they can get some autographs of the Nitro stars.

I imagine part of the problem would be the empty area that would quickly appears as eliminations happen. Visually, not ideal. I know it's not the answer people want, but that's my guess.
