The car has always been run as a stocker with relatively low power. I plan to install a SBC of about 550 horse and bracket race in no E/foot brake and some index racing 6.5 - 7.0 classes.

Adjustable upper control arms, HR Parts N Stuff antiroll bar. Does the 12 bolt in the car have the raised mounting points on the housing like the newer Moser housings? If not, you'll need a set of no-hop bars to correct the instant center. With all of these things it will work perfectly fine with a 9" tire.
There is plenty to be had getting the front end to work very freely as well.
