I think at the end of the year the racers should pool together and do something for our division crews. I appreciate all the division personel and think all these jobs are worth more than the state minimum wage they get.
I can't argue that point with you. I was thinking the same thing while I was writing it. We know without them there would be no race. I put most of them in the same spot we are in. They don't do it for the money but for the love of the sport. The old needle in the arm deal.
Last year at the Atco Divisional in I believe the third round I was right at the starting line along the fence. Bobby Broadbent blew the tires away to the point his car was fishtailing. Naturally he lost. All they did was a mop job not even spray. I was up there to watch the next pair and the last pair of Stock to go down. Heads up Ryan Horensky and Dave Ficacci. Should have been a great race unfortunately Ryan was in the right lane same as Bob before him and blew his tires away. This should not happen!! There are no excesses for it. We all know Ryans car doesn't have traction problems. All the time and effort we put into are cars long before we even travel to a race. The price to get there. Then the price to get into the race. You should not lose because of track prep. In fairness to Atco we know it was one of the best tracks for traction most of the time. Maybe there should be something where you could not only leave tips but also leave your thoughts about the race. BP
