Dean Cook Sr., long time NHRA Stock racer, passed away on Sunday, August 6. Dean was a true gentlemen. He was always willing to help out and would give you the shirt off his back. I first met Dean in the late 70s when I was just starting out in Stock. He was running a U/S Falcon at the time and was helpful in showing me the ropes. He won many Divisional and National events with his record holding Mustang. This is a tremendous loss to the Division 1 community. He will be sorely missed. Condolences to his family.
