Reminds me of the old Paul Smith rule... Back in the day he would show up with his FC or TF depending on how full either field was, make one hit, qualify, and all the sudden get broken....depending on who #17 was. A heavily sponsored car with a DNQ would pay pretty well to race Sunday and Paul got to keep the first round/qualifier money too......NHRA put a stop to that! LMAO!!

Not completely... this still happens in the Lucas Oil Series... tracks hate it but it still happens.
