personally i would go find "a belt" that fits in both grooves satisfactorily put it on without changing any pulleys start the engine up wing it to 6 grand see if the belt stays on doesn't flip off or slip has enough tension and makes the alternator charge---why bother chasing around for pulleys etc. unless of course you are going for the look --- who cares whether its to thin or too thick as long as it functions properly---FED 387
