Joe will. Actually, Marion is putting the Alan Johnson tune up on it this morning so she can take a run at # 1. He is looking for a 14.50 something if the track can hold that much power.

If she gets that kind of run, we can't hold that back.
Sounded like everyone made it through the barn. We use the Cometic head gaskets and they are awesome. You just wipe them off and reuse them.
I think Bill Owen might still be working on his car though. He said he had yet to get his car together for elims after teadown and he was going to really try this time. It must be a bear to put together.
Joe said the Thunderbolt guy and Depillo were having a great time racing each other. They squared off each session and were back and forth all night. That was probably the coolest match up each session. These were both stick cars too. Good attitude.
The Wenzel boys were out too. In C stick! Maybe D weight...Hmmm.
The weather might be better than advertised originally. Joe said it rained last night, but was not raining now. Supposed to get better too.
The stock superstock session earned some real money. I think Larry and Patsy mentioned that the extra rnoney run deal allowed a combined donation of somewhere near $3800 so that is a great job by all.
One thing that I think we need to also remember about the 3rd run that was allowed is that we should make an effort to thank Jay and NHRA. This is a real positive act and as much as we all take NHRA and officials to task when we have issues, we have a chance to let them know that we appreciate the extra effort and expense for a great cause. I would ask that any of you that agree that Jay made a great call here to thank him and send an e mail. Make them understand that doing the right thing helps them too. It will be appreciated and can make the folks in Glendora understand what motivates racers better.
