Graham Gouldman, when just a young guy, wrote the following hits:

... and this huge hit for The Hollies, featuring Tony Banks, Graham Nash, and the great Allan Clarke on lead vocals....
Later , in the 70's Gouldman formed the art /pop group 10 CC,...and we'll see if we can get Jeff N. back in here with this one ;-)
