Thumbs up Re: Two things that really pisses me off about todays stock elimintor

Human Intervention in factoring would be nice. Yes. Common sense use of air gauge info would be nice. Yes. Does the current method keep most people from competing in " Shoe polish eliminator" NO. (In no way minimizing fun of Eliminator or importance to our classes)Until the majority of the people push for more "class racing" the errors of the AHFS seem to get a deaf ear.
You are correct Why punish a worker or a believer in performance more than someone who works the Books to find the low factored combo?
Unfortunately I ran back when "a human" factored the cars. (not farmer) A person ran the same car in california and had a habit of "irritating" the tech person with sarcasm when OUR combo got hp. This made the tech person so mad he factored us( me in the mid west) out of competion in class here. We got 25 HP in 6 months. The adgitator got us 10 HP for qualifying number 2 at Phoenix and the number 1 car got nothing because he was "a good guy" to quote the tech person on the phone.
Just to say it can be bad BOTH ways if out of control or unsupervised.Intelligent supervision is definitely needed.
