Don`t know how much heat, humidity, etc effects the sample, but I have had C12 from a 2 year old drum pass no problem, yet several years ago, I bought 10 gallons of C12 from the VP truck at Seattle, and the following weekend, at fuel check at Sonoma, the guy doing the testing, said that the fuel I had bought one week prior, was borderline. I have to think the drums of fuel taken to the National Events, should be pretty fresh. Go figure.
