Honestly to do it right is not a cheap undertaking...
You can't just dump asphalt and smear it around...
There is a lot of prep and stabilization work to do it, and make it last...
Especially with the water table as high as it is there...
Maybe if they had done a little each year over time it would have been possible...
I fear it's too late for that now...
