I would make Indy a two weekend race with no quotas. Every sportsman that wanted to enter could. Starting this early you could get qualifying done on Sunday,start class etc Monday, wed elims down ti 128 car fields, the pro pits could be used for parking Sportsman. Sportsman still racing could be relocated to sportsman pits before pro parking. Any sportsman that lost early could be relocated to closest spectator parking area if they chose to stay for rest of event. I know somebody smarter than me could do a better job of making a time line and it would require the cooperation of ALL of the racers to make it work but you might have the biggest most profitable Indy ever. I think we all hope NHRA does well for the shortened season and next year can be more normal. Okay everybody tell me I’m crazy.
