When NHRA gave the 302 FFFords back all of that HP, the result was a bunch of cars getting built and many of them were built by Racers who hadn't run in Stock Eliminator before. I personally believe that, accident, mistake or whatever, it ended up being a good thing.
Maybe it's time for them to start looking for some more easily doable, somewhat easy to find combos that could/would benefit some "less than independently wealthy" Racers who might want to give Stock Eliminator a try?

Plenty of Pure Stockers and Crate Motor out there being discriminated against. !
