A local guy built a mid '60's Chevelle, with a six, back in '75. It was real quick, for a while, then either the nat record was bombed or he got a lot of hp. Anyhow, he never ran it after that, IIRC. I assume that the only reason he built the car, in the 1st place, was because it had a real soft index, or nat record. Can't remember now if we were running off records or index.

I remember seeing a screamin six run, in div 4. The guys name was Glen Self. The car's name was Stormin Six. It was a nat record holder. Never heard another six that sounded like that one.
