The 20 ft could be accurate 30 meters is 98 ft it is listed every where as 18-20 ft read below.
GPS (Global Positioning System) was designed to find an object's latitude and longitude, and is generally accurate to about 10 meters for that purpose. It can also be used to locate an object's elevation above sea level, but is only accurate to
about 30 meters for that purpose.
