Re: Live from Epping,NH , the New England Nationals
A great day of qualifying yesterday. Temp got as high as 73 with lots of sunshine. We hit the mineshaft number, so there were some fast runs made. I am happy racing the trusty Camaro with the backup motor in it. My a/s car is at home. The weather has ranged from 1000 to 2000 ft approx. The wind has been somewhat tail, and in the last session was certainly responsible for myself and a few other going slightly faster. Not alot of breakage thst i saw, Fred Thebault was swsping trans last night. The only car i saw abort a run was Scott Gove in the first ss session and he just went left on the 1,2 shift i believe. He came back in the 2nd and 3rd sessions to lay down fantastic runs and qualify 1st easily. I expect it to be a little faster for rd 1 today as the temp was 3 colder this morning (47) at 630 and the baro is is up slightly. Stock is out first at 915 for 1st round
