Jim Hughes and Matt DeYoung, Tucson Dragway Track Manager, have also created the opportunity to race for a Wally Friday of the Showdown with a National Dragster Challenge. Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, a Stock/Super Stock Combo, and Top Comp (Top Dragster & Top Sportsman) are all slated for Fridays’ schedule. These purses will be pro-rated on car count and details will be available soon. Racers entering the National Dragster Challenge will also receive a free entry to the Warm-Up race that evening. Any weekend entries that are also entered in the following weeks’ Advance Auto Parts Nationals in Phoenix will receive priority parking for the National Event.


Some of the Sportsman racers will be taking advantage of this for sure.
