Not sure what the record for a handicap is. I know when I drove Billy Nees HF/SA Sunbird, that car was a magnet for 10 second A-B-C cars. I was always dialed a mid/high 17.xx, so I got used to seven second head-starts. I think the biggest I ever got (that I can remember) was 17.97 to a 10.40-something against Joey Wilkes at Keystone/Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Not counting an all-run Gamblers race at my home track on a Wednesday night. I was dialed 18.24 against a Super Pro dragster dialed 8.35. Eighty-nine (89) mph difference.
