The time in line waiting to scale and fuel check is minimal and provides a quick way to validate some basic rule adherence. They do a good job moving people through in my opinion.
If they allowed pump gas, it would be very difficult to police what is right and what is wrong.
If you don't believe in heads up, class racing is probably not going to appeal to you. It is a lot more time and money to build and maintain one of the stock and Superstock cars than a traditional non performance car that is not restricted with the rules.

The problem is many car stock and SS, can run with pump gas. the racers lose time on the return road.
the racing fuel cost $12.00 VS $2.00 for pump gas.
Why the pump gas is not accepted?
for me... the fuel test is useless, same for the head-up.
