Have asked Bandimere and Pueblo to put on a nostalgia show for years with no real move in the right direction. Seeing you all along with the Nostalgia SS and AFX cars, Fastlane Stick guys etc is going to be great, so glad to make it, hope you have a strong turnout.
My son (age 21) is really a road racing guy but appreciates the S and SS cars, I always tell him he unfortunately missed the sport when it was really great and that the old Modified eliminator was almost better than sex.
We are only lowly spectators but love cars, we don't bother with the mile high nationals traveling circus, much rather make the div 5 points meet every fathers day weekend. Sportsman racing is by far the best, I just want to thank you guys for being there this weekend, can't thank you enough, we are telling all our friends to come out and support you.
I see only a couple Colorado racers entered in Stock and Super Stock at Topeka so hopefully you all get a good turnout at Bandimere.

First off welcome to the forum Gary .I see this is your first post. Thanks for your paticipation and
support. . Thank God for you "lowly Specators"
which you definately are not. No participants / no spectators
no sport......... No business. As far as the better than sex comment
well......Maybe a good debate... Every year the points race falls
on fathers day and I always miss fathers day with my dad which
I am still blessed to have. I Always think of him and try to make it
up another day.
In regards to 2 of our racers from Denver Scott Burton
and Dic Geary They will be in Topeka they will be missed. Both are great racers ,
and great sportsman as are most stock/ superstock racers. Best of
luck to both.
Stop and say hello to me if you get a chance.
I am very grateful for this great sport where everyone
does not get a trophy. If you get a trophy in drag racing
most times it was a combo of skill and luck and you damn
well earned it..... More often than not you lose. One of the most
humbling things I have ever done.
Thanks again. Randy.
