I do think certain tracks have just accepted divisional events as making money off participants only and do nothing at all to advertise them, especially if alcohol cars are not present. There were zero spectators at Zmax, about 50 at Atlanta and maybe one concession stand open at both. If I had not gone on NHRAdiv2.com I would not have known there was going to be a race at Zmax this weekend. At least I hear a radio commercial for Maple Grove's Memorial Day Weekend D1 Race, and we all know Bader does a great job advertising the Norwalk Divisional.

Well said Bobby !
But lets not forget that NHRA is a Business ! I'll bet most of the post on the subject don't attend national events at all .
Bader has his %%it together and know's how to promote a race and NHRA needs some lessons on that subject.
Getting back to the increase in fees for adding insurance coverage on Pit Scooters- Golf Carts I think is a good Idea ! I see those with Kids riding them unattended and Flying all over the pit areas and have had a few misses myself- Not my Fault !
I have always carried 500 K on my Scooter and G-Car , but my bet is most of the racers attending these event don't have coverage on anything- Golf Cars --Scooters or Race Cars. In today's world of I'm hurt - "I'm suing " World --you better get real !
Look , this is not a Cheap Sport we are attached to and there are cost related that need to be adjusted from time to time !
Just My Opinion !
