Crankshaft rules
Sorry for such a newb question, but I've been away from class racing for a long time (as in decades) and just taking a renewed interest recently.
What are the current rules for legal cranks in Stock elim and SS, respectively? #'s matching required, OEM but not correct casting #'s, approved aftermarket only, or anything goes? And (briefly) what limits if any on modifications and lightening of the crank?
I know, I know I need a 2008 NHRA rulebook... but a quick thumbnail would be great.
