At the very least, the 83 and 84 cars should not be rated the same as the 85.
The 85 had a roller cam where as the previous two years did not. If NHRA would allow this combo to run as an automatic, I would run my car in L/SA. I tried to run it with the factory CFI for a few years with no success. That is why I decided to put a crate motor in it.
