Lain Grae, a very successful businessman, is the New Owner of the track. Currently owns Moto Cross track south of San Antonio and just added the San Antonio Raceway to his holdings.

Has gotten tons of support from local businesses and I wish him the best.

The soft opening is scheduled for the 12th and 13th of June, T&T both days for $20.00 a car, plus a booked in Nostalgia Supercharged show on the 13th which should fill the 20,000 seat stands. Times and schedule are posted on San Antonio Raceway Facebook page, along with the huge effort by the new owner, racers, fans and enthusiasts to get it ready. Its quite a story. IHRA sanction is in effect. All equipment was replace/repaired and track surface was reconditioned. According to FB a Big Party is planned.

Wish him continued success and hope all racers will support his effort.

Only time will tell of his intent and success.
