Also a great first car for a new teenage driver. Yes, it doesn't have anti-lock brakes or air bags but it isn't powerful enough to get them in trouble and is big enough to keep them safe in an accident. Amen to both of the ideas above. Get rid of the points and do an electronic conversion and let the kids learn off of it. Not too many high school auto shops around anymore, but it could be a donation also to one of them. It would also be interesting to take one of those 'ol tanks and do a modern conversion to Stock with all the rules now in place, compared to just a few years ago.
