Don't know if it's legal in stock classes but i use a momentary switch that I depress. I have a brake pressure switch and you have to hold the momentary switch for the 2 step to activate. Any time after launch I release the momentary switch and the 2 step doesn't activate if I get on the brakes down track. I had a toggle switch but it's easy to leave it on and have a stutter down track.
I have seen some mount a momentary switch on the brake pedal pad itself and only step on it during launch.
