Default Re: Calvert wheelie bar

Rich, I was very happy with my Calvert single wheelie bar. Also, Calvert are awesome to work with if you have any questions etc. The car came up to a controlled height and sixty foot times were consistent. I'm an old guy so didn't want wild wheelstands, this bar gave me peace of mind and never "steered " the car like regular twin bars can do if not perfectly adjusted. I had to fabricate a platform welded to each side subframe under the trunk floor for the upper wheel to contact, otherwise the force applied would make a mess of your trunk floor. If you decide to go this route, shoot me an email at grant4060@yahoo.com. I have now converted my stocker back to street use and could save you some $$ and effort if you'd like to buy the entire setup off my car. Mine is a 1967 Camaro, ran in E/SA up in Division 6 a few years ago...
