It baffled me too. It would have been really simple to have a poster or flyer with "This weekend" highlighted. There were lots of people from out of town who could have made it Friday if not on the weekend.

Even at the NHRA Breakfast on Wednesday morning they were promoting the Finals at Pomona but not the Vegas divisional.

Since Shumi's fueler was too long for the booth and stuck out at the ends it would have been easy to replace it with a couple smaller Sportsman cars. There were some in other booths, the Todd Veney and Kris Hool alky funny cars, Chris Holbrooks CobraJet stocker, a new maroon SS/A 69 Corvette.
