Default Re: Performance Stock NMCA

Sorry, but flat out racing is never " budget racing ..or "cheap".

Case in point:

Joe Beginner has a 72 Nova in his backyard he wants to race. He saves his pennies, buys himself a crate motor and all the goodies, a pair of Stocker radials, and builds himself a T200 with a TA valve body.

Richard Retired want to go racing again, so he buys himself a new Camaro, a couple of Pro-Transes with different ratios, two pairs of slick and wheels..one tall set, and one short set...Then he goes to the dealer and buys five crate motors..He dynos each one and puts the best one in , and keeps the second one for a spare.

Now ..who do you think will win most of the races?
Was it cheap or budget for him? I suppose it's all relative.
