An NHRA history question for you.
Does anyone know anything about the long defunct SUPER Eliminator Category run by the NHRA in the 1960s?
It appears to have been made up of upper level Comp. Elim. type classes.
I have seen a photo of an unblown Funny Car running in the C/Fuel Dragster class (Gene Snow, I think). The photo is labelled as "Super Eliminator"
I am from Australia and we never had Super Eliminator as one of our Eliminator classes.
