steve, When cars run TOP/SS and TOP/STK they are either taking out wt for the race or adding ballast
to make the wt breaks. By allowing a separate index for the classes then the cars weights dont need to be changed between time trials and Class and Eliminations for Sunday. This makes it more attractive for making the major wt adjustment some make to have the opportunity to run the HEADS UP class racing at these events.
