Sorry , to hear about your problems ... Take the time to re-check everything you can while you are down !!!! Valve springs, rockers, timing, carb, etc . Use the carb off your other car, go with parts you know already work ??? Then
change them back one at a time ? If you dinged a valve you would have some kind of miss, so keep looking ? Valve springs & Clearances are critical so keeping checking everything before you re-start ....Hang in there, you will be fine.... Good Luck
