Yes, Oxygen is the name of the game. Fuel + O2 makes horsepower. The Oxygen sensor is an option on almost all of our weather stations. Without it we assume a constant percentage of O2 in the atmosphere and by measuring the density we know the assumed O2 content. With an O2 sensor and by measuring the density we do not have to ASSUME, but can calculate the ACTUAL amount of Oxygen.
With that said, if you race at the same location all the time the O2 level tends to be stable because the environment does not change, (vegetation, pollution, etc..). So the oxygen sensor tends to benefit the racer that travels to many different tracks that are located in different environments.
