FE & C thrust bearing specs are almost identical, FE housing bore (main od size in block) FE spec is .0005 smaller than C could put FE thrust bearing in C would have slightly less crush on bearing and would probaly have .0005-.001 more clearance.
Should be able to rebuild thrust without doing anything else to crank. If in rush maybe able to cheat it ,could possibly set cap towards front or back to offset thrust bearings to get by a race or two.
