Ya know Dick, that one sentence speaks volumes. Every car that I've ever driven except for one(partner)I built either by myself or with the help of friends. You should try it sometime.
I also don't appreciate your comment about racing really being about "beating someone not playing the dial, the air gauge, the tech book for combos" crap. Even back in the heads-up days you had to be good at reading the air to get the right tune-up, you had to know whether to dump your opponent or leg it to keep from hurting your own record or going more than a tenth under and as I remember some of your cars, you didn't have them built or buy them from another racer without knowing that it was a good "tech book" combo.
I honestly can't figure out whether you don't think before you post or you just can't remember what real racing is.(that's about as PC as I can put it)
