My Pure Stocker now can barely run the index. I know people will say to work harder on it and yes I can spend more labor on it, but that higher stall convertor, lighter wheels, tires, and "stocker" cam (with trick springs) don't come free.
So after spending the additional money, it might as well be built as a regular Stocker so it can run both sanctions.

AL !!
Pffffttt .. you Bumper Scraper..
You have the Q/SA Turbo T-Bird that is soooo quick that you need a parachute to slow it down
Check out the Howard Drop in Springs.
These are SBC Springs from Competition Products catalog.
98212, 98214 are $50 & $30 respectively.
Zero Tolerance 98213 & 98214 are $85 and $110
These are the same Spring except 98215 are ElectroPolished.
Love them too, will never break and live a lot longer than Standard Springs.
Have them on my 383 Bracket Engine.
Know a racer that uses them on his Road Course SBC engine.
X-TECH MAN can you get Phil to send a picture of his Max Wedge for the Photo Gallery?
