Well I guess the rules were written only for the Pro's big rigs. I don't get why a conversion wouldn't be considered the same.
I have a friend who pulls a 26' boat (30' overall) behind his 45' Monaco and hasn't been stopped yet for being over lenght.
I guess you can take a chance but you know with the money hungry government they will set up some sort of sting just to catch the other racers.
